Pew upholstery is our business, not a sideline. While nearly all the other companies offer upholstery services, they are simply subcontracting those services from someone else. Of course in the process making a hefty commission for themselves. We know this as fact because we are often the subcontractor...but only if we are the low bidder. You won't pay any less because the company that sold you the service goes with the low bidder but the salesman as well as his boss stand to make more for simply selling you someone else's services. Of course going with the low bidder often means lower quality materials and workmanship.

While you always will pay less with The Pew Man, we are able to offer you superior craftsmanship as well as only the finest materials simply because there is no middle man.

Pews are most likely your churches biggest investment after the building it's self and we can help you to add even more value and comfort to them to insure they last many more generations. We only use 100% polyurethane foam and only the best fabric in the industry most of which comes with a lifetime warranty. All of our fabrics are made especially for upholstering pews. A heavy backing is chemically applied so that the fabric can be stretched tight to insure no wrinkles and prevent it from fraying. All fabrics have Teflon(Scotchguard) applied to prevent staining.
Our upholstering techniques are the same as the ones used at the factory. If your pews were factory upholstered, they will be taken apart and reupholstered the same as done originally. Pews that were previously upholstered on site will stripped down to bare wood and all new foam and fabric applied. Those unsightly double welds your pews have now along the side edges will be replaced with completely hidden fasteners. Depending on the manufacturer of the pew, we maybe able to disassemble these pews also to even more enhance their look.
While new upholstery goes a long way in enhancing the beauty and comfort of your pews, we can go even further to make your pews look new again by refinishing the pew ends. We can either refinish them in place or remove them and refinish offsite.
